A wrong metal error is struck on a planchet intended for a denomination of a different composition. This includes a Malaysia 10 Cents cent coins struck on a One cent planchet, 20 cents on a copper planchet , and higher denominations with bigger planchet struck on smaller planchets of different metal.

  4. Dear Mr Dickson, i wish you are in good health.
    I have a question and really hope to be assisted.

    I have a 10 sen Bunga raya 2001 coin where the congkak "holes" were completely gone or sort of missing. I was told it was a rare item since it is die error (correct me if im wrong).

    I would like to sell it, but am not really sure on putting the price. Can you suggest the benchmark price for my coin?

    Please forward a sharp image of your 10 sen Bunga raya 2001 coin where the congkak "holes" were completely gone or sort of missing, is necessary for me to do a better authentication and suggest a reasonable recommended selling price. Thank you for dropping by and happy niewmismatic!
