Malaysia 1995 50 Cents Rare Date Coin With Double Strike Off Center On Edge

In Malaysia Bunga Raya series, 1995 50 Cents coin is consider one of the rare dates coin. With 1,650,423 pieces recorded minted,it was priced at RM150 (K.N.Boon's Catalogue 2012) for a brilliant uncirculated coin in condition.

It was minted on Copper-Nickel in composition, weigh at 9.33gm and diameter measured at 27.76mm.

A double strike off center occurs when the coining press fails to eject a newly minted coin completely from the striking area, and it then receives a second blow from the collar dies.

This was my third piece of Malaysia Bunga Raya series, 1995 50 Cents rare date coin with a Double Strike Off center on the edge.
