  1. Hi Dickson,
    Nice specimen here.
Is it possible to have such type of error in an oversized planchet?
    Thanks alot for sharing :)

  2. Dear Whycollect, under a normal minting process, it is not possible to have such type of errors in an oversized planchet, unless is an assisted error coin or a trial strike errors.

  3. Hi Dickson,
Does this principle apply to all cases of errors?
    Or what about mules?
For e.g an actual 20sen planchet with a 20sen coin's image on one side and the other side a smaller 10sen coin's image?
    Is this possible without assisted?
    Thanking you in advance.
    Cheers :)

  4. Dear Whycollect,
Q:Does this principle apply to all cases of errors?
    A:For me,Yes.
    Q:Or what about mules?
A:The famous mule coin instance occurred in 1967, when a two cent coin of New Zealand was accidentally minted with the obverse of the Bahamian five cent coin. They shared the almost look alike obverse die design, same size and same metal planchet.

    A:No!
