TELEPHONE TOKENS

TAIWAN TELEPHONE COPPER TOKEN

Telephone tokens started coming into use in the 1890s.Were once a widespread medium of exchange for people wanting to talk on public phones with someone. Their use spread around the world until the late 1990s, when they were replaced, apparently everywhere, by plastic telephone cards.
