FISH TAIL KIJANG GOLD KUPANG

Patani-Kelantan Gold Kijang Kupang With Fish Tail
Rarity:RRR/SS57ul. (Unlisted)
Obverse
In Saran Singh's book,"The Encyclopaedia Of THE COINS OF MALAYSIA SINGAPORE AND BRUNEI 1400-1967", they are eight major varieties of  Patani-Kelantan "Bull" or Kijang (Barking Deer) Gold Kupang.

Varity SS52 is a humped Bull/Kijang (Barking Deer) facing left with the tail raised ending in a flourish on the obverse. On the reverse is with Arabic inscription "Malik Al Adil" (The Just Ruler). The inscription "Adil" also ends in a flourish. This is a very early type that is rather difficult to obtain.
Fish Tail
My latest acquisition of a piece of Patani-Kelantan "Bull" or Kijang (Barking Deer) Gold Kupang is also facing left but with the "fish tail" raised ending in a circle. On the reverse is with a very crude Arabic inscription "Al Adil" (The Just) which is similar to the Gold Kijang Kupang variety SS57.
