This is a Kedah Sultan Zainal Rashid Al Mu'Azzam Shah I 1843-1854 Tra/Tera Tin coin.
Obverse is a eight petals flower (Bunga Lapan Kelopak- Berlapis).

Reverse inscribed in Arabic "Belanja Balad Kedah Darul Aman" (Currency of the Country of Kedah,the abode of peace).
Plain edge.
Weigh:1.28gm.
Diameter:19.44mm.
Composition: Tin with a round hole at the center.

"Kedah Tera Tin coin has a quite different Jawi inscription style (font);ancient style,even Jawi-literate will have a hard time reading them.I suspect that was because due to Hindu influence".
