Major Coin & Banknote Fairs And Auctions In March 2015
In this coming month, March of 2015, they are many major coin & banknote fairs and international auctions to be held in Malaysia and our neighbouring countries.

1) 7th & 8th March 2015 (Saturday & Sunday)
    The Johor Stamp  Collectors Society (Persatuan Koleksi Setem Johor) is organizing a Danga City Mall Johor Bahru Stamp & Currency Fair and Exhibition 2015 on 7th and 8th (Saturday and Sunday) of March 2015 on ground floor at  Danga City Mall in Johor Bahru. Time: 10.00am to 8.00pm.

2) 15th March 2015 (Sunday)
Trigometric Malaysia And Foreign Banknotes & Coins Auction will be held on 15th March 2015 (Sunday) at Hilton Hotel Petaling Jaya, (P.J.Hilton), Serunai Suite 1&2 Level 1, East Wing, No.2, Jalan Barat 46200, Petaling Jaya, Selangor Darul Ehsan, Malaysia.

The organizing committee here in Singapore is honored to announce that on display at the SICF this year will be one of the largest gold coins ever minted. This 1,000-ounce (68-pounds/31 Kilograms) gold coin was specially arranged to come to Singapore by the Austrian Mint, and is the largest coin ever produced in their iconic and famous “Philharmonic Orchestra” program. At the time it was produced, it was recorded as the largest gold coin in the world by Guinness World Records. It features a face value of €100,000 Euros, with a diameter of 37 centimeters and a thickness of 2 centimeters. The total weight is a massive 31.103 Kilograms of 999.9 pure gold. The 1,000-ounce Austrian Philharmonic gold coin will be on display for 3 days only, at the Sands Expo and Convention Center during the Singapore International Coin Fair. This is the first time a coin this big has been in Singapore.

Dickson Niew Collection at No.58, Jalan SS14/2, SS14, Subang Jaya, 47500, Selangor, Malaysia was chosen to be the collection center in Malaysia for items to be auction in CAA 5/2015 (Singapopre).
