This commemorative medallion was launched in conjunction with the Nobel Prize Centennial Exhibition in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia from 20th March 2004 to 27th June 2004 in National Science Centre (PSN) at Bukit Kiara, Kuala Lumpur.

It was jointly organized by the Ministry of Science, Technology and the Environment, the Academy of Science Malaysia and the National Science Centre.

This commemorative medallion was minted by The Royal Mint of Malaysia in 2004. The actual total mintage was not available. This is the first time I came to acquire such commemorative medallion. It was not known to me before.

It is a piece of Nordic Gold Commemorative Medallion, with Composition of Cu 89,Zn 5, Al 5 and Sn 1. Diameter measured at 30.00mm, Thickness is 2.00mm and Weight at 9.16gm. Plain edged.
