Errors and varieties are the most complicated area of numismatics and enjoy the largest value increases as well.
Error and variety coinage mainly are divided into three primary categories: Planchet errors,Die errors (or Varieties),and Striking errors.

I found a Malaysia $1 coin with what I'm sure is a die error. I don't know much about this stuff just found it and looked it up and now I'm here. Its from 1989 and is yellow. Oh yes I found it in my garden I'm from Australia

This coin was removed from circulation because there are too many counterfeits in the market.
