World Token,Lowestoft One Penny Token.
I was given this piece of Lowestoft 1811 One Penny Token by my Sifu Mr Tony Au. It is a copper token minted in 1811 to commemorate the Lowestoft Fisheries Department in England.

Britannia seated on the shore, her right arm resting on an anchor, her left hand pointing to the sea, a ship in the distance.
Legend: 'SUCCESS TO THE LOWESTOFT FISHERIES'.

Old tokens are interesting.
Surprisingly, its easier to find information about old tokens than those not too old and not too new ones.

Agreed.I think the not too old and not too new ones are too many for one to collect.

We have quite a number of these 'middle-age' tokens but got problem posting them due to non-availability of info.
Anyway, just keeping them for the time being.
Who knows.
