ReplyDeleteYes! You are right,the $1 copper token more rare than the rest.Actually,there are two more variety of this $1.00 Genting Token,one was copper plated with steel and the most rare piece is $1.00 in copper-nickel material.

ReplyDeleteIf not mistaken, we have the 20cents and 50cents cupro-nickel tokens in our collection only.
Got to recheck them to find out more but quite sure the $1 copper token not with us, and also the $1 cupro-nickel.
Haha, most of these tokens that are in our collection now are actually collected at random and impromptu.

ReplyDeleteCurrently,the 20 cents and 50 cents in good condition were sold for Rm30.00 and RM90 respectively!
$1.00 copper and copper plated=RM350.00,and $1.00 copper-nickel=RMxxx(you name the price).Ha!ha!
