INCOMPLETE CLADDING ERRORS
Malaysia Bunga Raya 2000,1 Cent Coin With Missing Clad Layer Errors.
Rarity:RRR
A copper clad-steel one cent coin is involved plating the coin to give it a copper appearance.
Planchets missing layers are thinner that normal planchets and, therefore, these errors show a noticeable weakness in the design especially along the edge of the coin.
These errors can be dramatic because the pure steel of the coin is exposed. This grey inner material is a sharp contrast to the bright red-brown appearance on the other part of the coin.
