Malaysia Senior Numismatists Visited Dickson Niew Collection Shop On Hari Raya Day.
Yesterday, was the first day of Hari Raya Adil Fitri holiday, it falls on Monday.I thought of taking a day off to visit my Muslim friends. After making a few calls, I found that most of them were back to kampong. Then I decided to have breakfast with my senior sifus, Master Tan Tain Seng and Master Tony Au. When I picked them from their home at OUG, Jalan Klang Lama and Jalan Ipoh , they wanted to visit my Dickson Niew Collection Shop (DNCS) at Subang Jaya. We had a good breakfast together.
Master Tan Tai Seng, he is very experience on old coins and Malay States Sultanate coins. He is a very senior member of Malaysia Numismatic Society (MNS). He is also a Pakar Numismatic Malaysia (PNM).

Master Tony Au, a founder member of Malaysia Numismatic Society. He is also a very senior numismatist and specialize on error coins and Straits Settlements coinage.

I learnt a lot from both of them since I started to become a coins collector in 2007. We used to meet up almost every Saturday at Mr Bob Chew's shop at UE3, Jalan Cheras.(Mr. Bob Chew is also a PNM). Later we used to meet up at Berjaya Times Square when Mr. Bob Chew moved to the 7th floor of Berjaya Times Square at Jalan Imbi, Kuala Lumpur.

Now, both of them are having arthritis problem, difficult to walk around. I try my very best to pick them up for breakfast or tea at least once a week or fortnightly. I do hope they are always healthy and can share their endless, very worthy experiences on numismatics with us.
