MALAYSIA COINS WITH MISSING "GC"
I, too, keep error parliament and bunga raya coins.
I noticed, of late, the poor quality of the bunga raya coins -
they have doubles (partials), deposits, shadows, bad
printing, etc. Are they worth anything?
I also have parliament coins without the 'GC' and error ones
through the denomination. How are they valued?
Appreciate your indulgence.

ANSWER:
Yes,I totally agreed with you that the recent Bunga Raya coin series are terrible minted. It comes with planchet flaws, striations, defections, die filled, worn dies etc etc. These are the minor die errors and variety.Doesn't command much premium. But,are good for you to collect for coin studies.
As for the missing "GC"-Designer Geoffrey Colley,it may happen after a DIE CRASH ERRORS,or a FILLED DIE ERRORS. How to put a value ? To me ,is between willing seller and willing buyer. Is another minor die error.
Planchet Errors ,Strike Errors and Major Die Errors will command much higher value.
Those with "Dots",are actually called Die Gouge Errors.e.g.1979,1988-50 sen-Dot,1982-5 sen-Dots.
