The 1st series of Malaysia Banknotes were issued from 1967 to 1972.The Bank Negara Governor was Tun Ismail Bin Mohdmed Ali .The printer was Bradbury Wilkinson & Co for $1,$5 and $1000 banknotes and Thomas De La Rue printed the $10,$50 and $100 banknotes.
The first series of replacement banknotes for $10 was Z/1. An extremely fine in condition $10 replacement notes is currently priced at RM3000.It is a scarce banknotes.
