This is a 10 Roepiah banknote,the Imperial Japanese Government Issue printed in 1943 (World War II) in Java after the Japanese occupation was well established.


The dimensions of this original 10-Roepiah notes are 159 x 78 millimeters. It is brown colour on the obverse with a picture of  "Wayang orang Gatotkaca" and "Arca Budha/Stupa" on reverse in purple.No water mark and signature.It was printed by Djakarta Insatsu Kodj.
