A set of four pieces Malaysia 10 cents coin were struck in various metals.
The circulation issue is mint in copper-nickel,but these pieces are struck in copper,silver and gold.The rim of the gold piece has a natural die crack and a weakly reeded edge.The strike and details are the same as the circulation issue.

It was hypothesise that these set of Malaysia 10 cents coin were specially made for a VIP associated with the Mint.
A copper-nickel circulation strike 10 cents is included for comparison.
All are in UNC condition.
This set of Malaysia Constitutional Monarchy 1989 10 Cents was once put on auction on 18 September 2008 in Long Beach,CA World Coin Signature Auction in USA.It was from the Dr.Patrick Tan Collection.
