These are the Aluminium
Tokens that I had collected from a old numismatist.He told me these aluminium
tokens were used in Malaysia during the Japanese occupation (1941-1945).But he cannot recalls what are purpose or usage of these
tokens.

tokens would be very much appreciated!

ReplyDeleteDepankanta berpendapat token ini hanyak dibuat untuk kegunaan kelompok yg kecil sahaja.Cara dibuat pula hanya dengan tempaan tangan.Mungkin dengan memahami tulisan jepun yg ada itu kita boleh mengetahui tujuan dan asal usul token ini..Ini hanya pendapat depankanta saja..hehe

ReplyDeletePendapat saya ialah Planchet/blank nya dan perkataan "MEIJI GATE" dan "BAHASA JEPUN GATE" dibuat dan ditempa memakai mesin, hanya numbor siri yang ditempa secara manual.
