ERRONEOUS AND MUTANT JIM NOTES

Erroneous And Mutant Japanese Invasion Notes.

Rarity: Unique.

In the process of printing paper money, it is inevitable that errors do occur which at times slipped through quality control. All along, collectors are fascinated by these scarce erroneous notes.Even with today's advances in science where state-of- the-art computers are used in the quality control, errors still go undetected at times. During the late stages of the Japanese occupation, the notes were printed in haste and without present-day computers, errors were abound.

In the printing process, folds in paper which mutated the prints were common occurrences. This is the  original error JIM note published on page 68 of "THE JAPANESE OCCUPATION OF MALAYA (SINGAPORE) AND ITS CURRENCY", By Wong Hon Sum.
