Dickson, thanks for downloading the images of MNS Auction 158 for sharing. Looks like coins of the Parliament House series especially in the UNC or higher grade are set to rise in the near future. Take for example the price listed in KN Boon 2012 edition for 50 Sen Parliament House series in UNC condition -1967 is RM35, 1968 is RM80 and 1969 is RM260 compared with the reserve price. Would be interesting to see how MNS members would bid up the prices and perhaps set a new height for Parliament House series in the future..I wouldn't be surprised if BU condition for low mintage 50 Sen in year 1979, 1985, 1986 &1987 would set to rise rapidly too in future MNS auctions.

ReplyDeleteThank you for your good comments, lets see what is going to happen.They were others who simply claimed that it is the MNS commitees purposely "pushed" up these prises to benefit the society.We, as a NGO society do not and will never need to do such thing.It is an open auction for our members, willing seller, willing bidders,the society only charge the seller 10% on realised price.Collections from our auctions are just barely to cover the expenses.MNS had already organised 157 auctions in the past.We are proud, as a NGO society, we still survive. I sincerely invites those who can make MNS a better society come to join us or replace us.
