Collectibles Auction Asia 4/2014 auction was completed with another big success. A total value of more than SG$300,000 worth of  auction items were sold.
Since I came back to Malaysia on Sunday evening (5/10/2014), my handphone started receiving calls from many dealers and coin collectors, they were just wanted to double confirm those "crazy" realized prices in the Collectibles Auction Asia 4/2014 (Singapore) auction.

On the second day (Monday), I started to receive calls from public from the North and Sarawak, claiming that they had read their local newspapers about the Malaysia 1969 50 sen was sold for RM82,000 in Singapore and they had a few pieces in hand for sale, they asked me to offer a "good" price to buy their 1969 50 sen.

Since then, everyday I received many calls from the public wanted to sell their Malaysia 1969 50 sen.

I think, this is a good sign. The realized prices from our Bank Negara Malaysia's Golden Numbers Banknotes Auction and The Collectibles Auction Asia 4/2014 (Singapore) auction has shows that the world of numismatic in Malaysia is still very strong. Cheers!
