Gold Kupang Kijang Patani-Kelantan With "Spiky Foot" Variety.

In "The Encyclopaedia of THE COINS OF MALAYSIA SINGAPORE AND BRUNEI 1400-1967" by Master Saran Singh AMN,PNM,FRNS, the Patani-Kelantan Gold Kupang Kijang that with a bull/Kijang (deer) facing left with raised tail ending in a circle (Sun) on the obverse and with a crude inscription in Arabic "Al Adil" (The Just) on the reverse was coded SS57.

It has an average weight of 0.60gm and a diameter measured at 10.00mm. Master Saran Singh claimed that the model with code SS57 Patani-Kelantan Gold Kijang Kupang has numerous varieties. This must have been issued over a very long period.

I am sharing with you two pieces of model SS57 Patani-Kelantan Gold Kijang Kupang that the bull/Kijang (deer) facing left with raised tail ending in a circle (Sun) on the obverse has four "spiky foot".

I am totally have no clue, indication, evidence, hint or pointer that these bull/Kijang (deer) with spiky foot were made for special reason? Your good comments are most welcome. Happy weekend!
