Capped die error happens when a struck coin gets stuck on the upper coin die. This coin then becomes the face of the die and will be called a capped die coin. When the next planchet (blank coin) is placed on the collar for striking, the newly struck coin would bear the brockage error. If the striking of coins goes on without the stuck coin removed from the upper die, the capped die coin deforms into a shape similar to a bottle cap or a thimble.

In 2008,I bought this set of coin from a same coin dealer at a different time of about four months at Pasar Pagi Minggu Shah Alam. During then I didn't realise that they are "Twins".The Die Cap Errors "X-Brother" came earlier and the Capped Die Errors "Y-Sister" walked in later.
In year 2010,I read a book with titled World Top Mint Errors, a picture showed a set of  bonded Die Cap and Capped Die Strike Coin Set.I search through my collections. When I put the-X-Brother and the Y-Sister together, they formed a perfect match.I am so happy I collected a very rare set of error coin.
Perfect Matched
About to match.....
Happy Twins
