Malaysia Parliament Series 1970 One Cent Copper Coin Graded MS 67 RB.

Only two denominations of coin in Malaysia Parliament series were minted by Hamburg Mint, in Germany. There were the One Cent Copper Coin with total mintage of 2,535,000 pieces and the 20 Cents Copper-Nickel coin minted for a total of 1,054,00 pieces.Both were considered a key date coin by local coin collectors.
This piece was graded MS67 RB (Red Brown) by US famous grading house, the NGC.
I was told, so far this is one of the highest graded 1970 one cent coin in NGC.

ReplyDeleteI still believe our own grading,learn how to grade is a must by a serious collector,US grading sometime can be too commercial,they are graded by human too, different graders may grade differently especially on coins come from countries where the graders are not familiar.
a nice coin with ms 67. there is a people from sabah got 3 pieces of this in BU condition red brown toning wonder how high the price can go.
