Since yesterday afternoon when the MNS Auction 157 over at 1.30pm, I start to receive call after call, sms after sms, fb massage after massage, to find out from me the news of 1969 50 cents Parliament House series was bidded for RM2,800.
It doesn't stops until this afternoon.Coin collectors,dealers,senior numismatists from local, outstation, even from down south-Singapore calling me to find out the truth of the news. They are suspecting that it is a milled or reeded edge(ME) 1969 50 Cents coin.They were puzzled when I confirmed to them it is a security edge 1969 50 Cents coin.Mr.Khoon Huat Lim, you really caught everybody by surprise!

Good news and bad news, depending on which side you are sitting. For those who possess milled edge 1967, 1968 & 1969 in EF and UNC condition, no doubt your investment will shoot up the roof in the near future. I just received a copy of the Auction 2/2013 Collectibles Auction Asia from Dickson Niew. I wouldn't be surprised if Lots 371, 372, 373 & 374 covering milled edge 1967, 1968 & 1969 50 sen coins would set new benchmark prices.
