FORGERY ACHEH GOLD KUPANG WITH MULE STRIKE ERROR.

Acheh Counterfeit  Gold Kupang With Mule Strike Error.
In a recent auction in Singapore, a senior Singapore numismatist bidded four pieces of Acheh Gold Kupang. He asked me to do a search on his successful bidded items.

Out of the four pieces of the Acheh Gold Kupang, that is a piece exhibited a very weird design on its field on the obverse and reverse of the coin. There are many stripe of lines on the surface. It's weight is 0.567gm.
A senior Malay States Sultanate coinage collector from Malaysia told me, very likely it is a forgery Acheh Gold Kupang. I do agreed.

I referred to the Leytan's Acheh Gold Coinage reference book. It was listed with item code: A17b ovud. A counterfeit Gold Kupang.
On the obverse, it suppose has the inscription in Arabic " Paduka Sri Sultanah Tadj-al Alam " , but instead it was with the inscription " Safiat ad-Din Berdaulat Shah ". When I turned to its reverse it has the same Arabic inscription of " " Safiat ad-Din Berdaulat Shah ".
This a "Mule Strike Error" Acheh Gold Kupang.
