High Rim Errors.
Answer:
This can be a Misaligned die (MAD) struck error coin.MAD is occurs when the top and bottom dies are not in alignment with each other. The results are one side of the coin design is offset while the reverse appears normal.(Please check the Obverse of this coin.)
Or,It can be a a Finned Rim Error Coin. The cause of this error is usually one of this two things. Either the planchet is too heavy for the normal die spacing, or the dies are improperly spaced and coming too close together during the strike. This causes excess metal to squeeze up between the dies.
