    Just touched down from East Malaysia two hours ago on a working trip.I managed to visit some numismatic dealers in KK.Sabah,Miri,and Sibu!Was in Kuching for few hours,can't visit any of them!Hope to post some of their where about ASAP!

  6. Recommended to use acetone to remove any PVC residue. Nail polish remover is actually acetone but is being perfumed. Try on cheap coin before those expensive coins.

  9. Well, they have to be removed anyway or else they start to devour your coin's metal in due course.
    Looking at your coin, the PVC residue is still fresh and can be removed easily with a cotton bud carefully without scratching it and bit of acetone before running it with some water later.
    Dry them later before your 2x2 or PET (Polyethylene terephthalate) inert plastic without known plasticiser.
    Try on a cheaper coin first.
