1982 10 CENTS PMJ UNIFACED
Malaysia 1982 10 Cents With Post Mint Job (PMJ) Unifaced Errors.
This is an other piece of Post Mint Job (PMJ) coin. The total surface on the obverse of this coin was filed away by using a rotary buffing machine.
On the obverse of the coin are the concentric lines that use to see on a counterfeits coin.
You can see there were signs of gripped marks on the edge of the coin.
You can also see signs of curved metals at the edge of the coin resulted by the rotary files.
Weight:2.05gm, normal weight :2.82gm, different of .77gm.
I was told by the owner, he collected this unifaced coin together with other newly released coins from the Bank. He checked with the BNM officer, the BNM officer replied to him this is a genuine coin and likely it was being used to do some metal testing or for some other purposes that someone in the BNM Kilang Wang may know.
