1969 20 CENTS WITH DISK CLIP ERRORS

Malaysia 20 Cents Key Date 1969 With Disk Clip Errors.
Rarity:RRR/UNC
Again, I was lucky to be given the chance to own this rare date 1969, 20 Cents coin in choice uncirculated condition with Disk Clip Planchet Error.
This rare date 1969, 20 Cents coin was belonged to a very senior numismatist cum Pakar Numismatik Malaysia. It has been in his collection for almost 44 years. He is very kind to allow me to inherit his rare collection. I would like to assure him that his rare collection will be in my custody for many many years.
20 Cents coins dated 1969 were minted with a total mintage of 15,000,000 pieces. It was the third lowest total  mintage in 20 cents under Malaysia Parliament House series. Lowest in mintage is 1970 (1,054,000 pieces) and second lowest is 1978 (6,847,062 pieces).

In my experience, to find a piece of uncirculated 1969 20 Cents is already a tough task. And for me to own this rare date 1969, 20 Cents coin in choice uncirculated condition with error is a big achievement in my error coins collection.
According to the Error Coin Encyclopedia by Margolis and Weinberg, its technically called a disk clip. Others may refer to it as a "rim clip". The disk clip is major enough to be categorized as a clip but minor enough to not show the typical characteristics of a clip such as the Blakesly effect. Typically, its just enough of a clip to disrupt the formation of the coins rim and nothing more. Disk Clips usually have fully reeded edges since the minting process itself actually enlarges the planchet.
The clip itself is flanked by "shoulders" where the metal has not flowed up to the high points of the rim. These features are difficult for a forger to duplicate.
