BRITISH INDIA EIC QUARTER ANNA 1858 VARIETIES

British India, East India Company, Quarter Anna, 1858, (KM.463.1), Single Leaves Variety.
These coins, i.e the 1858 1/4 Anna coin was produced in England by Soho mint and Birmingham mint as the Indian mints were unable to keep up with the huge demand of 1/4 Anna coins during this time. They come in two variety. Also, these were the last 1/4 Anna coinage bearing the East India Co. name.

1857-58 were turbulent years in India and historically very significant. These coins were minted right up to 1862 after which the design changed to the 1862 Queen Victoria design.

A piece of  British India, East India Company, Quarter Anna, 1858, (KM.463.1), Variety single leaves, with grading PCGS MS63RD. (Lot:114) was listed in Mavin International Auction 34 on 13 & 20 July 2013 and was realised at SG$240.
I do have a piece of  British India, East India Company, Quarter Anna, 1858 but do not how to differentiate which variety it belongs. And I was told there are variety of single leaves and double leaves. I was seeking the expertise of some senior numismatists to help me and tell me where is the different.Which leaves there are referring to as variety "Single Leaves" or variety "Double Leaves".

The answer is at the wreath tips, one variety have the single leaves and the other is with double leaves.
