COPIES OF STRAITS SETTLEMENTS COINS

Copies Of Straits Settlements Coins In The 70's.

I was told by my Sifus these forgery coins were already sold in the market since early 1970's. They believed and suspected that these coins were casted by counterfeiters from the north.

How to detect these forgery Straits Settlements cents ?

1- There are always lighter in weigh.
2- The center of the coins are always thicker then the rim.
3- You can spin the coin on a flat glass surface.
4- Details of the coin are rough and not sharp.
5- Denominations are wrong.
6-Some dates are non exist.
7-Always in dark brown to black colour.

This "King George V" is more angry then the" Angry Bird"

I think these counterfeiters must had failed their mathematics badly!
