The discovery of tin in Malaya had lured him and thousands of other Chinese, to the fledgling tin mining town where he established himself as a pewtersmith.
An iconic Malaysian brand, Royal Selangor is the best-known pewter brand worldwide, renowned for its fine craftsmanship and innovative designs. Working with a talented team of in-house designers are international talents such as Danish designer Erik Magnussen, British designer Nick Munro and Australian design team Zuii, who have taken pewter to a new level their subtle yet edgy designs.
